Our success in life, and that’s in any and every part of our lives, is ruled by  the principal of dynamic balance. This dictates that we only survive and thrive by constantly being in tune with ourselves and in harmony with our environment. If you need an image – think of a surfer.

Your future, as an individual, in business, as part of a community, as a citizen of Planet Earth requires constant attention to detail .. our: needs, talents, assets, behaviours, actions and habits as well as the nature of our (operating) environment, in other words the world “out there”.

To successfully navigate through the challenges and make the best of the opportunities in our lives we need to learn how to know ourselves ever more profoundly and harmonise with a changing evolving external reality: the sea can get rough and powerful one minute and placid and weak the next.

We all seek things as we progress through life: peace, security, happiness, fame, wealth, health, excitement and status to name a few. So understanding what is important to us at each stage and what the world (that is the “not us”) currently requires, approves of, rewards and punishes is vital if we are to achieve what we want and need most.

And here is the thing that many people miss: The great power of the surfer does not come from themselves but from the wave they are riding, which itself is the manifestation of enormous forces way out to sea. The surfer learns to understand the power and flow of the wave, and they use their skill to travel further and faster than they ever could, if they tried to ignore the waves and paddle with their hand instead. Why would anyone want to do that?

So you want and need greater success in your life or some aspect of your life right now? …. Then it’s time you learned more about yourself and how the World around you really works. That World has so much to offer you and you have so much to offer it shouldn’t you get started?

Learning to ride the wave is a skill, and we can all learn to do it in our lives as individuals, as businesses, as communities and as a society. The rewards for those that commit to that pursuit are almost unimaginable.
